Caramel, khaki, and sand: these are set to be the colour cornerstones of our summer wardrobe. Year after year. And the fact that these separates come in natural fabrics like hemp and organic cotton makes them even more irresistible.
Hemp is a wonder fabric that is even more responsible than linen, as it grows organically almost anywhere (and without the need for pesticides) and requires just a fifth of the water that’s needed to produce cotton. We love its relaxed, beachy texture and have used it across everything from shirts and tailored trousers to relaxed blazers, to see you right through the summer.
We’re also proud that almost all of the cotton pieces we produce now are made using organically-grown fibres. This process is much kinder to the environment as it uses 88% less water and 62% less energy than conventional cotton, and its production sustains the health of soils, ecosystems, and people by using natural processes rather than artificial inputs.
Hemp and cotton go together like bread and butter, meaning you can’t go wrong in teaming a crisp white organic tank with a pair of tailored hemp shorts. All that’s required is some sun…!
